Summary
The Fiji Impact Study of Iron Fortified Flour conducted in 2010 evaluated the progress of the country’s iron fortified flour strategy, which was adopted in 2005. Data collected included basic socioeconomic characteristics, health literacy, nutritional status, anthropometric measurements, and a 24-hr dietary recall. The survey canvassed 869 women of childbearing ages 15-45. Non-citizens and non-pregnant women were excluded from the sample. Results of this survey are reported in "Impact of Iron Fortified Flour in Child Bearing Age (CBA) Women in Fiji 2010 report".
