Qatar Child Health Survey 1987
General Info
The Child Health Survey was conducted as part of the Gulf Child Health Survey Program. The first phase of the survey covered all households in the sample and included a Basic Household Survey, Maternal Care Survey, and a Child Health Survey. A second, multi-round survey was administered to two groups: women reported as ever married and under 50 years of age in the first phase and children under age six. Out of a sample of 4,194 nationally representative households, 3,868 were enumerated for the main survey. The maternal care survey interviewed 3,918 women (out of 3,958 eligible participants). A total of 4,921 children under six years of age were enumerated in the household survey and 4,901 in the child health survey. The report and tabulations may be available through the library system.
