As part of the Integrated Infectious Disease Capacity-Building Evaluation (2009-2011), mid-level practitioners (MLPs) in 36 Ugandan public health facilities received training to improve clinical competence and practice in addressing infectious diseases. On-Site Support was also provided with the goal of improving patient outcomes and overall facility performance. These capacity-building interventions were evaluated through the analysis of 23 facility performance indicators using data from a modified outpatient visit form and Ministry of Health registers. Twelve indicators were based on data from the outpatient form, and twelve additional indicators were based on registry data (one indicator used data from both the outpatient form and registers). Version note: the original data files distributed were for the baseline and trial periods (Nov 2009-Dec 2010). As of 11/2/17, both the stata and .csv files for indicators 1-9 (Ind1-9_ETAT_Mal_Pneum) have been updated to represent the full reporting period of Nov 2009-Sep 2011).
