Summary
The purpose of the survey was to collect data on demographic and socioeconomic trends in Pakistan as the basis for future research. The four areas that the survey focused on were migration, fertility trends, household expenditures and labor force participation. Interviews were conducted in 1979 and 1980 using a sample size of 11,300 households.
