Pakistan Reproductive Health and Family Planning Survey 2000-2001
General Info
The Pakistan Reproductive Health and Family Planning Survey 2000-2001 was a national survey of reproductive health and family planning. The survey covered a representative sample of 7,332 urban and rural households across all four provinces, the Northern Areas, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Two questionnaires were used: a household module and a women's module for ever-married women ages 15-49. A total of 6,579 women were interviewed for a response rate of 89%. Topics covered include fertility and infertility, contraceptive use, maternal care, immunization, and child and maternal mortality.
The report for this survey was available at one point on the Ministry of Population Welfare website, but that organization was dissolved in 2010. As of 2014, there is a population welfare statistics section on the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics website.
