The National Bureau of Statistics publishes annual tabulated data on registered births and deaths. Birth data include births by emirate and nationality from 1976 through 1995 and births by emirate, nationality, and sex in 1995. 

All deaths from 1986 through 1995 are listed by emirate, sex, and nationality. Additional tables provide numbers specifically for infant deaths and children (ages 1-4) for those same years. Comprehensive tabulations list deaths by nationality, sex, and age group for the year 1995.
