Summary
This survey sought to identify the problems and expectations of disabled people in relation to health, education, social security, the environment, and transportation. The target population, which came from the National Disabled People Database, was 280,014 individuals recorded as being at least 20% disabled. Survey instruments included a household questionnaire that gathered general socioeconomic information, and a questionnaire specifically for individuals with disabilities. A report on survey methodology and results can be downloaded from the website of the Turkish Statistical Institute.
