Summary 

The purpose of this survey was to collect data on marital fertility, contraceptives, and social psychological characteristics that illuminate behaviors and intentions regarding fertility and contraceptives. This survey followed the guidelines of the World Fertility Survey, except in the population surveyed. The target population in the World Fertility Survey guidelines was women up to age 50. This survey assessed married women up to age 34. Information was gathered through interviews and a total of 4,522 questionnaires were completed.
