Summary
The Salt Consumption and Food Resource Study (SALTURK2) examined participants' daily salt intake and identified sources of dietary salt. The sample included 925 volunteers selected from PatenT2 participants from Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, and Konya; 657 participants were ultimately included in the study population. The study collected a medical history, detailed history of salt intake, dietary history, blood pressure measurement, and urine collection from each participant.
