Summary
The 2006 Iran de jure census collected data on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment, disability, fertility, migration, and education. Fieldwork occurred from October 28-November 17, 2006. All households were enumerated, including foreign residents and the homeless population. Diplomats and their families, transit passengers, and travelers staying in hotels were not included in the census.
