The annual World Drug Report is part of the United Nations' effort to monitor the commitment to eliminate the global illicit drug supply and demand. Statistical trends for drug production and consumption are presented for all major drug categories. Data primarily come from the Annual Reports Questionnaire, which was sent to 192 UN Member States and 15 territories. The 2011 data are preliminary estimates.
