Summary
The 2005 South Korea Census of Population and Housing was conducted by the National Satistical Office, via the use of both a short and long form questionnaire. Data on a variety of demographic and socioeconomic characteristics were collected nationwide on households and household members. The total population of South Korea in 2005 was enumerated at 47,278,951.
