Summary
The purpose of the survey was to collect nationally represented data on fertility and family planning in Iran. Two separate questionnaires were included in the survey; a household questionnaire and a questionnaire of ever-married women ages 15 to 50. The sample size was 6,056 households; 5,730 household interviews and 4,890 interviews with women were completed.
