Summary
A report on these data presents estimates of cancer prevalence based on yearly incidence and survival rates for all cancers together, and 20 selected cancer sites. Tables show prevalence by gender and age groups, number of patients, and percent of the population. For some cancers, projections are made up through 2010. Percentage changes in prevalence and population between 1990 and 2004 are also presented, and broken down by sex and age groups. Cancers are coded in ICD-10.
