Summary
This report provides incidence and mortality rates for cancer cases in 2004. The tables are broken down by sex, 5-year age groups, and ICD-10 cancer codes. Crude, age-standardized and cumulative rates are presented. The report covers 71.9 million people (5.53% of the country) in 43 registration areas, comprised of 18 cities and 25 rural areas in China. This is the first annual report published by the National Central Cancer Registry.
