Summary
The DEWS system was started in Afghanistan in 2006. This annual report covers data from 2008-2010. The system in 2010 included 245 sentinel sites operating in public hospitals and basic and comprehensive health facilities in 34 provinces. Weekly reports from the system are also available. H1N1 is included in the report.
