Indonesia Population Census 1971 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1971 Indonesia census collected data through face-to-face interviews on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment, education, and fertility. The census day was 24 September.
A 0.54% sample of census blocks from the census (634,642 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. The data come from the .038 sample of enumeration blocks which received the long form questionnaire. Dwelling and vacant dwelling units are not identified in the microdata. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
