Designed as a standardized tool to collect data on tobacco use among youth in countries around the globe, the GYTS is a school-based survey of students ages 13-15 years. It provides a uniform methodology for constructing a sample frame, selecting schools and classes, preparing questionnaires, conducting fieldwork, and managing, processing, and analyzing data.

The 2022 Poland GYTS was administered to 3,985 eligible students, of which 3,573 were ages 13-15. Data are reported for the 13-15 age range only.
