Summary 

The National Sample Survey (NSS) is a national socioeconomic survey conducted in annual rounds with a cycle of rotating topics. The 78th round was comprised of a household questionnaire and a Multiple Indicator Survey questionnaire. The Multiple Indicator Survey collected information on access to water and sanitation facilities, education and ICT skills, assets and debt, residential construction, and migration. 276,409 households and 1,163,416 individuals were surveyed.
