Summary 

The Guatemala Health and Nutrition Epidemiological Surveillance System surveyed 875 children from 0 to 59 months of age, 1,203 schoolchildren and adolescents from 6 to 14 years of age, and 1,732 women from 15 to 49 years of age. Data was collected via interview, anthropometric measurement, blood pressure measurement, the collection of biological samples (blood and urine) for analysis of biochemical indicators and the collection of food samples for quantitative determination of fortification levels with micronutrients.
