Australia Household Impacts of Covid-19 Survey March 2021
General Info
This survey is designed to provide a quick snapshot of the changing social and economic situation for Australian households with particular focus on how they are faring in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each cycle collects information on different topics. Starting in August 2020, the survey switched to a monthly collection, and introduced a new panel of respondents. In the November 2020 cycle, the sample was increased to 3,400 dwellings. Beginning with the March 2021 survey, "a sample of around 9,500 private dwellings was selected to target a total sample of 4,146 fully responding dwellings. The fully responding count achieved consists of 1,676 dwellings continuing on from the November 2020 cycle, and 2,246 new participants, bringing the total panel to 3,922 people." The March 2021 cycle collected data about use of public transport, voluntary work and unpaid help, emotional and mental wellbeing, health precautions, sources of health information, stimulus payments, and job status.
