This report provides data for the period 2007-2013, collected by the midwifery staff of the maternity units of all public hospitals in Cyprus, covering: prenatal care, numbers of live births and stillbirths, mode of onset of labor, the health of the newborns, and the mother's age, education, tobacco use, fertility treatments, utilization of psychoprophylaxis during pregnancy, and injuries incurred during childbirth. Some data from private maternity facilities are used for comparison as well. Most indicators used adhere to the definitions of the Euro-Peristat Network.
