Summary
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The Ghana 2021 Population and Housing Census was the sixth national census in the country since independence. The census was carried out during the enumeration period from 28 June and ended on 11 July 2021 and recorded a total population of 30,832,019.
