The Law Enforcement Officers Killed or Assaulted (LEOKA) Data, is a component to the United States Uniform Crime Reporting Program. The collection effort aims to gather comprehensive data on assaults resulting in injury or death to police officers in the line of duty, as well as on the distribution of policing resources. The resulting dataset is made up of information from two report forms that are sent to participating police agencies by the FBI throughout the country.
