Summary 

This 2017 National Study on Violence Against Women in Georgia is the first such study, conducted by UN Women and Georgia's National Statistics Office. Its aim was to survey intimate partner violence (IPV), non-partner violence, violence experienced during pregnancy, violence experienced in childhood, sexual harassment, and stalking. It also surveys attitudes of men and women regarding violence and coping strategies, and awareness of services and laws. 7,380 households and 6,006 individuals completed the interview.
