Summary 

The Honduras National Demographic Survey 1983-1984 aimed to gather demographic rate data. The survey covers topics such as crude birth rates, death rates, nuptial rates, mortality by sex and age, fertility, infant mortality by sex, and both internal and external migration. Approximately 30,000 households were included in the sample size and were distributed among urban and rural areas. The two departments excluded from the study were Gracias a Dios and Islas de la Bahía.
