Summary 

The Mandera Central District Nutritional Anthropometric Survey of March 2010 utilized the Standardized Monitoring and Assessment in Relief and Transition (SMART) survey methodology to assess malnutrition prevalence in children ages 6-59 months. The survey was conducted in the divisions of El Wak, Kotulo, Wargadud, and Shimbir Fatuma. Data were collected on morbidity, anthropometry, immunizations, vitamin A supplements, deworming status, BSFP coverage, and food distribution and security. A total of 932 children were assessed.
