Summary
The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Council of Ministers approved the use of a regionally coordinated approach for the 2000 Round of Population and Housing Censuses. A total of 14 CARICOM Member States and 4 Associated Members participated in the effort and Guyana completed data collection for the round in 2003.
This program comprised the preparation of the National Census Report. The Guyana 2003-2003 Census was conducted across the population of 751,223 persons.
