Active Bacterial Core surveillance (ABCs) is a laboratory- and population-based surveillance system for bacterial pathogens of public health interest. Surveillance areas include select counties in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, and Oregon. Annual reports including demographics, incidence, and deaths are released for each ABCs pathogen.
