Summary
The National Obstetric Information System (NOIS) Report 2019 provides information on maternal and perinatal health for the country. Data were collected from Mater Dei Hospital and Gozo General Hospital (public), as well as St James Hospitals in Sliema and Zabbar (private). All infants and fetuses 22 weeks of gestation or greater are included in the data.
Statistics on birth outcomes, birth weight, maternal and fetal deaths, maternal education level, mode of delivery, and gestational age data for the years 2000 to 2019 are included in the report.
