Summary

A portion of those households surveyed in the 2001 LSMS were re-interviewed for the third wave of this panel survey, also known as the Living in BiH survey. While comparable to the earlier LSMS and available through the World Bank, support from the World Bank was more limited. The panel survey sample consisted of over 3,000 households from the LSMS. For the most part, the questionnaire for wave 3 aligned with waves 1 and 2; however, the food consumption module and some of the detailed education expenditure and access questions from 2001 were dropped, and some of the health status and credit questions from 2001, dropped in 2002, were re-introduced. Subjective questions on living conditions from 2002 were included.

A data file for all four waves of the survey is also available from the World Bank.
