Argentina National Population, Family, and Housing Census 1970 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1970 Argentina de facto census collected data through face-to-face interviews on the subjects of household demographics, migration, housing conditions, education, employment for individuals age 10 and older, and fertility. The census day was September 30, 1970. Coverage for the census was 97.21% of the population. A 2% sample of households from the census (2,667,714 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Data on vacant units are not available in the microdata. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
