Spain Population and Housing Census 2001 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 2001 Spain de jure census collected data through self-enumeration on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment, education, and migration. A section was included for verifying and updating Spain's registry data. The census day was November 1, 2001, and the fieldwork continued for two months. A 5% differentially weighted sample of dwellings from the census (2,039,274 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
