Guatemala Population and Housing Census 2002 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 2002 Guatemala de jure census collected data through face-to-face interviews on housing, household demographics, employment, education, disability, and fertility. The census day was November 24, 2002 and field work was carried out November 24-December 7. A 10% sample of households from the census (1,121,946 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
