Peru National Population and Housing Census 2007 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 2007 Peru de facto census collected data through face-to-face interviews on subjects of housing, household demographics, education, migration, disability, employment for those 6 and older, and fertility for women 12 and older. The census day was October 21, 2007, and fieldwork was conducted on that day in urban areas and October 21 - November 4 in rural areas. A 10% sample of a 15% stratified sample of households (2,745,895 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
