A report for this survey was published as the third national poverty assessment, which is based on this survey as well as the previous IAF surveys (2002-2003, 1996-1997). The sample consisted of 10,832 households, and interviews took place over the course of the year to account for the seasonality of expenses. In addition to the household questionnaire, the survey included questionnaires for collecting information on monthly and daily consumption and expenditures and a community questionnaire. The statistics office (INE) in Mozambique has also released tabular data for this survey.
