Bhutan Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey 2010

Part of the fourth round of MICS, the Bhutan Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey was a customized version of MICS that incorporated some questions from the ICF Macro Demographic Health Survey questionnaires in order to include more indicators related to reproductive health and experience of domestic violence.
Using a household questionnaire, an individual women questionnaire, and a questionniare for children under five, the survey included the following topics: children and women such as health, education, child protection and HIV/AIDS, vaccination, contraceptive use, and symptoms like diarrhea, cough and fever.
The sample for this survey consisted of 15,400 households, 14,676 of which were successfully interviewed. Of women ages 15-49, 14,018 were successfully interviewed, and for the children under 5 portion of the survey, questionnaires were completed for 6,297 children.
