Summary
The Kenya Standardized Monitoring and Assessment in Relief and Transition (SMART) surveys were conducted to assess malnutrition prevalence in children. Data were collected on mortality, anthropometry, vitamin A supplements, maternal health care, and food consumption.
For the 2013 survey in West Pokot districts, household interviews were conducted in March using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. A household sample of 362 households and a sample size of 399 children ages 6-59 months were determined.
