The National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) in Colombia provides annual vital statistics data on fetal deaths in the country. DANE processes the data from death certificates. Tabulations include data on sex, age of mother, education level of mother, department where the death occurred, birth weight, period of gestation, and cause of death. Most tables are either broken down by department or municipality. The causes of death are organized by the Colombia list of 105 causes or the PAHO 6/67 short list, both of which correspond to ICD-10 groups.
