Jordan Population and Housing Census 2004 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 2004 Jordan de facto census collected data through face-to-face interviews on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment for those 15 and older, migration, education, and disability. The census day was October 1, 2004. Fieldwork for the census was carried out October 2-8 and post-enumeration occurred November 27-December 3. Census coverage was for 95.9% of the population. A 10% sample of private households or persons in collective households from the census (510,646 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
