Summary
The 2001 Cambodia STI Prevalence Survey was a cross-sectional survey in seven select provinces where major HIV and STI interventions were currently in place or were planned for the near future. The study populations included brothel-based sex workers, police, and general population women attending reproductive health clinics. The survey sought to determine the overall prevalence of neisseria gonorrhoae, chlamydia trachomatis, treponema pallidum, trichomonas vaginalis, and bacterial vaginosis.
