This printed report from Malaysia in two volumes, also known as Perangkaan Penting Semenanjung Malaysia, has tabulations by age, sex, ethnicity and state from the vital registration system and includes population estimates based on the census. While the majority of tables provide data from 1982, some tables have data from as early as 1980. Topics include live births, birth rate, population, deaths by cause, neonatal deaths, infant mortality and child mortality. Cause information uses ICD-9.
