The Monitoring Smoking Habits in the Danish Population survey, conducted in November of 2017, collected data on the smoking habits of participants by age and sex, including cigarette and e-cigarette use, purchasing activity, and steps taken to quit smoking.

Participants ages 15 and over had the choice to answer the survey questions either by computer or smartphone, with 5,124 individuals successfully completing the questionnaire.
