Ecuador Population and Housing Census 1962 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1962 Ecuador de facto census collected data through face-to-face interviews on housing, household demographics, employment for individuals 12 and older, education, and migration. The census day was November 25, 1962. A 3% sample of persons from the census (136,443 individuals) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Information on dwellings, vacant units, and households is not available in the sample. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
