Summary 

National health accounts (NHA) constitute a systematic monitoring of the resource flows in a country's health care system, helping to inform the evaluation of health care policy.

The report includes full NHA tables on the following health expenditures: financing sources to financing agents, financing agent to provider, and financing agents by health care function. The report also includes more tables and analysis on public health expenditures and private health expenditures (i.e. out-of-pocket spending and insurance).

This report is available for download in PDF format from the NRHM Health Management Information System (HMIS) Portal provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (India).
