National health accounts (NHA) constitute a systematic monitoring of the resource flows in a country's health care system, helping to inform the evaluation of health care policy.

The 1995-1996 NHA report for Ethiopia includes NHA tables containing data on resource flows from financial agents to providers and health care functions by provider. Table 3 and Figure 1 provide estimated health care expenditures by funding sources.
