Summary
Young Lives: An International Study of Childhood Poverty aims to understand the effects of poverty on child development by tracking 12,000 children in Ethiopia, India (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states), Peru, and Vietnam over a 15 year period. The first round of Young Lives was conducted in 2002. Topics covered in the Young Lives surveys include nutrition, mental and physical health and development, education, employment, and perceptions of well-being.
