National health accounts (NHA) constitute a systematic monitoring of the resource flows in a country's health care system, helping to inform the evaluation of health care policy.
The 2001-2002 Egypt NHA report includes full NHA tables containing data on resource flows from funding sources to financing agents, financing agents to providers, and financing agents to health care functions. The report also includes analyses on expenditures at the subsystem level and the implications of the NHA findings for policy issues, as well as high-level tabulations on health and socio-economic indicators.
