Summary

National health accounts (NHA) constitute a systematic monitoring of the resource flows in a country's health care system, helping to inform the evaluation of health care policy.

The 2006 NHA report published by the Ministry of Health (Burkina Faso) contains one full NHA table for the 2006 distribution of health expenditures of providers by health care functions, as well as high-level tables and analysis of sub-accounts relating to tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and malaria between 2003-2006.
