Egypt Contraceptive Prevalence Survey 1980-1981
General Info
Limited to the rural areas of Egypt, this contraceptive prevalence survey sought to collect data on contraceptive knowledge, fertility levels and family size desires, and the perceived availability and accessibility of family planning services. A total of 5,049 households and 5,313 women, ages 15-50, were successfully interviewed. The survey included three parts: a schedule of all women ages 15-50, a migration module, and an individual questionnaire for eligible women.
Tabulations and an analysis of the survey are included in a printed report titled Egypt 1980 Contraceptive Prevalence Survey: Summary Report. Some libraries may be able to procure this report through the interlibrary loan system.
